Our train didn’t leave Moscow until 11.45pm so there was just time for a nightcap before bed.
In the morning we had plenty time to set up home in our bijoux compartment. We even managed to create a larder
and a cocktail cabinet.
We were already into spectacular scenery, snow laden trees
and Christmas card villages.
What a lovely first day.
Wow! Looks amazing, glad you have got things sorted I am looking nforward to more posts
I’ve always baulked at anything like the trans-Siberian experience although I’d love to go across the Nullarbor. Don’t ask me why one and not the other. At the moment though yours is looking very inviting. It does make me wonder, though, what people do in their postcard villages in the middle of Siberia. But then people constantly ask me that about Lewis. I hope that you manage to reconstruct more of the journey with photos.
Impressive use of your cozy compartment ! Stunning views.
